NTA has defined the comprehensive structure for the CUET LLB entrance examination. The exam comprises three distinct sections:
Section I is divided into two parts: IA and IB. Section IA offers 13 language options, while Section IB provides 19 language choices. Candidates must select their preferred language during the application process.
Both sections assess reading comprehension (through factual, literary, and narrative passages), literary aptitude, and vocabulary. Each language segment contains 50 questions, of which candidates must answer 40.
Section II of CUET BA LLB 2026 evaluates legal aptitude, legal knowledge, understanding of the Constitution and governance, and related topics.
This section presents a general test comprising 75 multiple-choice questions covering fundamental general knowledge. Candidates must attempt 60 out of 75 questions.
